First things first: No, this isn't REALLY a trailer for a new project of mine. No.

This is just something I did for TAFE this term. We were tasked with coming up with an idea for a video game, TV show, or movie, design a bunch of characters, props, backgrounds, storyboard a couple of scenes, and then finally, produce a short animation.

So I did mine based around a game idea Calculon and I came up with a while back titled "LARGE ADVENTURE", and basically? It's just a giant send up of classic RPG adventures.

There's a number of references crammed into this one little trailer, so kudos if you can spot them all.

let's see.... there's knife wrench, the name calculon could potentially be a reference to futurama, the bottle of skrumpy from TF2, the face paint from that guy in the mighty boosh, the yellow jumpsuit from kill bill... umm... can't think of a whole lot more. -,-

Yes.

Ivan is Russian. Instead of "HEY LISTEN", it would be broken english, such as "HEY, BE LISTENING TO ME" in a cool Russian accent.
